Impunity Still His Namo!

If today’s developments carried with them any message it’s that the Assads have decided to completely disregard the presence of AL Monitors and go ahead with the usual business of firing non-discriminately at protesters where they might be, even in the presence of monitors.

Today’s death toll:  35, including three women and 2 children. The Breakdown:  14 in Rural Damascus, 9 in Homs City, 10 in Hama City and 2 in Ma’arrat Al-Nouman in Idlib Province.

Local human rights organization have documented over 130 deaths, including 6 children and 4 torture cases, since the arrival of AL monitors in the country.  

General Strike continues to be observed throughout protest communities.
