Independence Day?

April 17 – Syria’s Independence Day, a day that lost all its meaning under Assad rule, will remain devoid of any meaning until we are free of the Assads and their minions.

With ¼ monitor per rebellious community, the UN mission in Syria seems destined to follow in the footsteps of the infamous UNPROFOR. But then, perhaps the Balkanization of the conflict is exactly what the world wants at this stage, to justify further inaction. After all, and as one sign from the Damascus suburb of Douma asks: “you have satellites, why do need monitors? You Liars”

Meanwhile, Assad’s manic attempt at erasing Homs City from existence continues , , , ,
